The Examining Board of Plumbers is comprised of Plumbing Inspectors, Code Officials, and Licensed Master Plumbers that oversee and administer the examinations of all applicants who are seeking qualification and licensing in the three townships and over sixty villages of Nassau County, NY.
Our primary goal is to protect the health and well-being of Nassau County's residents and business owners by upholding industry standards and ensuring that the NYS and local plumbing codes are followed during installations.

Condolences for the Briganti FamilyLou Briganti Sr., father to our longtime members Keith Briganti Sr and Keith Briganti Jr has passed away after serious health challenges recently. Your condolences, thoughts and prayers for the Briganti family are appreciated during this time.
Services were held at the Dalton Funeral Home in Hicksville on Wednesday from 2pm - 5 pm and 7pm - 9 pm; and Thursday from 2pm - 5 pm and 7pm - 9 pm.
Lou Briganti Sr. was a licensed master plumber on Long Island--a brother in the trade; Lou was 82 years old, and he will be missed.

Tony Montilli, longtime member, has passed away. Tony, you will be missed.
Wakes were held at Meserole Funeral Home Thursday night 5-8:30 and Friday 2-4, 7-9. Funeral-Saturday at St. Joseph in Hewlett-9:30 am.
Edwin Cornetta, one of our longstanding members and plumbing inspector for the Town of Hempstead for 27 years, has passed away. Ed, you will be missed.
Antoinette Frissora, the mother of our valued member, Board Secretary-Treasurer and long time friend, Dominick Frissora, passed away on Saturday evening, April 19, 2014.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cornetta, Frissora and Briganti familes.

News & Updates:
Our 2014 regular meetings in Bellmore were marked by forward movement on all membership initiatives, an enthusiastic reception for a favorite meeting location, Piccolo's Restaurant, and solid optimism about continuing strong progress in 2015.
January's meeting was held at a new host restaurant in Syosset, Chris & Tony's Restaurant -- January 5th at 7:00 PM.
March's meeting will be held at McQuades Neighborhood Grill in Lynbrook Map & Directions
The annual scholarship competition awarded a $750.00 college scholarship to Jacqueline Vani, daughter of Member Joseph Vani and willingness to award a second scholarship to another worthy applicant was discussed and approved. Congatulations to these worthy students!
In 2015, several new membership applications available, helping realize our growth as an organized membership of Nassau County plumbing inspectors, local government code officials, and Licensed Master Plumbers ensuring safety and standards in the villages and townships of Nassau County.
Since we are a not-for-profit corporation, the success of our last summer fundraiser "Plumbers Picnic" was gratifying on several levels, boosting funds and reserves toward target levels, and how to strengthen and exceed last years success remains on our planning table.
This year's July 9th, 2014 Plumbers Picnic was a tremendous success.
Also in 2014, we "went green" with the meeting minutes - changing our medium to providing minutes by email exclusively. To receive the minutes, be sure to provide Bob Gramman your email address where you want each meeting's minutes to be sent.
Besides spreading our meeting patronage to new restaurant locations, eagerness of members to move ahead with 2015 projects, education, speakers and coordination shows more reasons than ever to be on board, so enter it in your calendar now. MEETING DETAILS BELOW
More new members and new associate members are supporting the organization in the new year - greet them and get to know them. Hear how the 2014--2015 speakers list is filling up with excellent presentations, and enjoy the hospitality of our host restaurants.
