 The Examining Board of Plumbers is comprised of Plumbing Inspectors, Code Officials, and Licensed Master Plumbers that oversee and adminster the examinations of all potenial applicants who are seeking qualification and licensing in the three townships and over sixty villages of Nassau County.
Our primary goal is to protect the health and well-being of Nassau County's residents and business owners by upholding industry standards and ensuring that the plumbing code is followed during installations.
We are a not-for-profit corporation.
The Joint Board of Plumbing Examiners was founded early in the 1930s to help shape and control the plumbing codes and standards as Nassau County experienced a population, and subsequent housing explosion.
Plumbing Examiners Picnic Is Here: Saturday July 25th at Plattduetche Park. [directions]Picnic will be held Rain or Shine from 10:30AM - 4:30 PM... Families are encouraged to bring kids for the old fashioned games & activities. Ticket prices remaining the same for adults, Reduced this year for kids: $50 adults (21 and up), $30 Teens (12 - 20 yrs), Kids under 12 FREE.
The picnic will start at 10:30 AM with a continental breakfast so the kids can get started on the many exciting activities and events we have planned for them. Some of the activities: pony rides, inflatable jumping castle, face painting, egg toss and a petting zoo. The adults will enjoy tasty picnic fare including fresh clams, German beer, live music and some other great surprises.
 The Picnic Committee has been hard at work. This is the SOLE fundraiser we have: We want to resume our scholarship program and contribute to charities like Wounded Warrior, so we MUST firm up the committments of our sponsors & NOW as we need time to set these things up. Let’s make this a huge success, bring our families & friends down, bring the sponsors down and have a lot of fun in the process.

Plumbing Examiners News Flash: April 2009: Kevin Bove, Code Enforcement/Plumbing Inspector has been appointed to the Plumbing Board of Floral Park by incoming mayor, Kevin Green. He has filled the seat of Joe Johnsen. He now joins John Monz and Matt Sweeney. He will be sworn in at the upcoming May meeting. Welcome aboard, Kevin!
